GRRA is a charitable organization dedicated to nurturing and caring for Golden and Labrador Retrievers who are abandoned, mistreated, neglected, or left in shelters throughout Georgia. Help our cause by donating, volunteering, or adopting dogs in our rescue.

GRRA holds various events throughout the year with the aim of raising money for dogs with medical needs in our care. In most cases, dogs that are left in our care require extensive medical supervision, medication and nurturing. With the help of your donations and our volunteers, we are able to provide superb care for all dogs that we take responsibility for. Please help us continue supporting our cause by contributing with a donation or becoming a volunteer.

Love goldens? Become a volunteer!

We work tirelessly to house all dogs, match them with a family, nurture and provide all needed medication for those in our care, especially those with significant medical needs. Please consider donating or volunteering with GRRA and give back some love that goldens have given us.

How You Can Help

ADOPT

We are always looking for families to adopt or foster. Please consider giving a home to a dog with medical needs. Start the process by filling out the application to adopt and read FAQs to familiarize yourself with the process.

DONATE

Every dollar counts! Donations are used to cover medical expenses and housing costs for dogs in our rescue. Want to really make a difference? Subscribe for monthly donations to support the dogs with medical needs.

VOLUNTEER

Become part of our all-volunteer 'pack' of dog-lovers who believe that dogs make people healthier and happier! Even if you haven't much time to spare, volunteering an hour or two each month or week will make a difference for the dogs the dogs.

The financial needs of our organization change daily, depending on amount of dogs in our shelters and their medical needs. Please consider participating in any of our ongoing fundraising efforts.
