GRRA Annual Rescue Romp!

You are invited to join GRRA at our biggest and most festive event! It's the Rescue Romp time and all rescued Goldens and Labs are invited!
This is a party where everyone is welcome so, call your friends and family and let them know. The Rescue Romp is our biggest fundraising event of the year, so be sure to make plans to join us! Raffles!
Three Day / Two Night stay at The Mulberry located in Savannah’s historic district. You can visit them on-line at www.savannahhotel.com. Tickets will be $10 or 3 for $25.
50/50 raffle: You get 50% and GRRA gets 50% of the receipts. Tickets are $5 or 5 for $20
Silent Auction
Some of the items up for bid at the Silent Auction will be:
- 4 rounds of golf at the Country Club of Gwinnett
- An 11 x 14 oil painting of your favorite pet
- Sunset cruise for 4 on a sail boat (not a sailing class)
- Teeth Whitening
- 2 Tickets to an Atlanta Falcons game
- 2008 VIP tickets for 4 to an Atlanta Braves game
- Tickets to the World of Coke
- Tickets to the Georgia Aquarium
- Gift Certificates to Atlanta area restaurants

Contests
We will have some contests this year. They will include:
- Best dressed/costume
- Best trick
- Best sit/down stay
- Best Kisser (this will be fun to see dogs kissing people!)
- Most alike (Do you and your dog look alike?)
We will have some entertainment that will show you ways you can spend
great time with your favorite canine. The Dixie Dancing dogs will be
joining us for a dance demonstration. We also hope to have a fly ball
and/or agility demonstration for you!
Volunteer
Appreciation Day!
In memory of Lori Kauffman, a GRRA volunteer, a collectable 2007 ROMP button will be handed out at the Romp as an appreciation to all the volunteers.
Golden Store
Our Golden Store will be open again this year! This will be a perfect time to pick up the new T-shirt! We’ll have our sweatshirts and jewelry as well – these make great holiday gifts. And don’t forget about the 2008 Entertainment Book!
2008 Calendar Unveiling
Our 2008 Calendar will be unveiled at the Romp. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this!
Cafe Pig Barbeque
Barbeque will be provided this year by Café Pig from Peachtree City. To help defer the cost of the meal, we’re asking for a $10 donation per person, or $25 for a family. If you’d like, you can pay on-line via Paypal.
GRRA Bake Sale
We will once again feature the GRRA award wining bake sale! We need folks to get their baking hats on and contribute to another successful bake sale. Please let us know if you plan on contributing by emailing us at secretary@grra.com.
Bring Recyclables
Don’t forget to bring your recyclable items. We’ll have a box for you to
leave the following items:
- Cell Phones
- Ink Jet Printer Cartridges
- DVD movies & video games
- Portable DVD players
- Laptop Computers
- MP3 Players
- Digital Cameras & Digital Video Cameras
- Portable GPS devices
- X-box, Playstation, or Wii consoles
We're still accepting items for our Silent Auction. Nothing is too big or too small, so get thinking about what you might like to see at the auction and go ask for it. Want a gift certificate for a restaurant? How about a round of golf? How about a gift basket full of goodies for your favorite fur kid? What about tickets to a concert or the theater? Now that you've decided, just go ask!

a donation letter and agreement (so we can send thank you's later), so send

and we'll get you the information so you can go out and get that perfect
item for the auction.
