How can I find a home for my Golden Retriever?

We are dedicated to saving Golden Retrievers that have been left in animal shelters. On a space-available basis, we will provide placement services for owners who must give up their Golden Retrievers. To help us gather information on your retriever, please complete our Intake Form.

If you are unable to use our form, you may also call 770-915-4922 or email our Intake Coordinator at intake@grra.com. In your communication, please be sure to include:

• information about the dog
• phone number so we can contact you
• best time to call

How can I find a home for my Labrador Retriever?

Many Labs are destroyed at animal shelters, so we must devote all our Lab resources to these dogs. We have a very limited number of foster families for Labs (if you would like to become a lab foster, please email our Foster Coordinator at foster@grra.com).

If you need to surrender your Lab, please contact the following groups to see if they can be of assistance:

• Atlanta Lab Rescue
• Labrador Friends of the South
• Atlanta Dog Squad
• The Labrador Retriever Club
• SPOT Atlanta Area Animal Rescue (this site will provide all breed rescue groups)
