Honey  and Her Puppies!

When Honey's Guardian Angel saw her for the first time on the 4th of July, Honey was in a ditch with a deceased deer.  She could tell that Honey had puppies but the puppies were nowhere to be seen.  The lady returned the  next day,  determined to find Honey and her babies, and that she did!  All were taking cover under a trailer and even though people knew she was there, no one offered Honey food or water! The Guardian Angel scooped up Honey and her puppies (five girls and five boys) and set off to get them safe as they were overheated and highly dehydrated.  Whilst on route they called GRRA asking what they should do to help the little family and ensure they didn’t lose any babies or Honey (she is extremely emaciated).

Rescue takes a village and the GRRA village pulled together to make sure our new Momma and babies were safe and cared for.   Honey arrived at her new foster home and I think we can say she surely is happy for everyone’s help. We are currently accepting adoption applications for the puppies who will be ready for adoption when they are eight weeks old.  Please donate to this family or any of our other dogs in need.
