Medical
The goal of the Medical Team is to ensure every dog that joins our Rescue completes the vetting protocol to identify an array of different possible medical conditions. This allows the team to ensure that every dog can go into their new perspective home either fully cleared and fully well or in the case where there may be a medical issue at least it has been identified and the correct treatment can be given
In regards to the Medical of GRRA, the goal is to get all dogs to be the healthiest they can be and to ensure that if a dog needs ongoing medical treatment they are placed within a forever home or foster home that can adequately care for that dog Throughout their treatment, A dog receiving medical care will not be adopted until GRRA has provided the commitment to that dog to get them as healthy as can be for them to enjoy the rest of their life, The medical conditions dogs can come in with range from minor to major and regardless of the severity they get GRRA‘s total commitment to their health.
We also ensure every dog is microchip and registered, Spayed or neutered which can be age related, and all dogs are fully up-to-date on their annual vaccines and their monthly heartworm, flea and tick Prevention
